World's Tallest Building

Burj Dubai:


Burj Khalifa, World's Tallest Building located in DUBAI, UAE.
It is 2716.53 feet (828m) high. It has 160 floors and more than 5,00,000 sq.m of space for offices and apartments- setting the new world record for the tallest building.


It is twice the height of the Empire State Building. Its Spire can be seen from 95km away and its exterior is covered with 26k glass panels. One of the developers behind its construction is EMAAR Group.



This Tower also claims some of the world records such as:
Highest Occupied floor
Tallest service lift - 504m
Highest Observation Deck - 124th floor
Highest Mosque - 158th floor
Highest Swimming pool - 76th floor



Burj Dubai is home to 1044 luxary apartments, 49 floors of offices, 160 room Armani Branded hotel. Around 12k people are expected to live in this tower.

    900    : length in feet of the fountain at the foot of the tower, the world's tallest performing fountain 




It also holds another world record that is : world's largest performing fountain.


The Dubai Fountain is a 32 acre lake with 5 rings of high-powered  water jets leaping over 140m into the air visible from 20 miles away.

It was officially opened by Dubai's ruler, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
